Janitor/Custodian
 
Union County is accepting applications for the position of Part Time Janitor/Custodian for the Union County Health Department. Experience with sanitizing and cleaning settings of a medical nature is desired, but not required. Duties will include, but are not limited to, reporting to Union County Health Department (after hours) to clean and sanitize the offices, empty garbage containers, stock restrooms with hand soap and paper products, and secure the building upon completion of task. This position may be required to fill in for the Building Maintenance Supervisor in times of absence, and may on occasion be required to assist the Maintenance Supervisor with cleaning of other buildings. Must be capable of supervising inmate labor, must possess a valid SC Drivers License and be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
 
This position is hourly minimum wage and averages 20 hours per week.
