Shelton Field is located off the Sardis Road one mile west of the Union city limits. The field has a 3,500 foot paved runway capable of handling twin-engine business aircraft. The airport is located 608 feet above sea level and has fuel and other service facilities available. A rotating beacon is located on the field and runway lights can be turned on by radio from approaching aircraft.
